Warsaw Modlin Airport has the DVOR/DME system.

The installed navigation lighting meets the requirements of ILS CAT II.

On 18-19 June 2013 PANSA performed ILS CAT I calibration test flights with a positive result.

On 28 March 2014 the airport received the certificate with specifications to the certificate for ILS CAT II operations.

On 2 April 2015 the President of the Civil Aviation Authority issued a Decision under which Warsaw Modlin Airport may handle air operations in harsher weather conditions than before. It does not mean that the ILS system category has been increased, but it has only been extended. According to obtained specifications, category II precision approach operations can be carried out when visibility along the runway is at least 300 m. Take-off operations can be carried out when visibility along the runway is above 125 m.
