The railway to Modlin is coming!

Warsaw/Modlin Airport will soon gain its own railway station and a direct rail connection.The Mazovian Voivode has signed the location decision for the construction of a new railway line leading directly to #warsawmodlinairport. This is a major step toward more convenient and faster travel! Construction is planned to begin in 2027, with the first passengers expected to reach the airport by train two years later.

As part of the investment:

• the existing Modlin station will be expanded with an additional track and a 200-meter-long platform,

• a new above-ground railway station will be built near the airport, in the area of the current roundabout,

• a freight station is also planned to enhance operational capacity.

The total estimated cost of the investment is PLN 256 million.

This is an important milestone in the development of Warsaw/Modlin Airport and another step toward improving transport accessibility for passengers across the Mazovia region.
